Trimellitic Anhydride

Trimellitic Anhydride TMA is a fine chemical raw material with the molecular formula C9H4O5 and CAS No. 552-30-7. It is supplied as white powder or flake crystals, with purity of at least 99% and a melting point of approximately 165–168°C. The product is offered in industrial grade and is mainly used as an upstream material in high-temperature plasticizer, polyester resin, and powder-coating systems.

• One of the most important downstream uses of TMA is the production of TOTM, a heat-resistant plasticizer used in high-temperature cable compounds and heat-resistant PVC products.
