Tributyl Citrate TBC is an environmentally friendly, non-toxic plasticizer made from citric acid. Its molecular formula is C18H32O7 and its CAS number is 77-93-0. It appears as a colorless transparent oily liquid. The typical purchasing specification includes a purity of at least 99%, density of 1.038–1.042 g/cm³, acid value of no more than 0.2 mg KOH/g, and moisture of no more than 0.1%.
